Ryou was brought to the hospital. He wasn't critically injured, but his hand didn't look to good.
The next day when Sayuri was on her way to visit Ryou in the hospital, she meets an old lady who asks her the directions to a hotel and it seems like the old lady was Gilbert's grandmother.
